"Attention Students" In "Just Being Yourself' Isn't a Skill That Should Earn Your Admission to College" Caity Weaver Argues About Students Thinking They Can Get Into College By Doing Nothing.In response to Suzy Lee Weiss' article about people misleading her and telling her that she could get into college by just being herself Caity Weaver decided to write an article of her own criticizing Suzy. In Caity's article it states that, " being yourself is not a talent"(3). What that is saying is that she doesn't believe you should get anywhere special just by being yourself. Caity goes on to say that the right way to get into college is by volunteering. She also said in order to get into college you need to make good grades and good ACT scores. Weaver isn't against being yourself, she just thinks that that's not a good way to try and get in college with.
